In the meantime, here are my very favorite course creators I highly recommend!
Your Guitar Sage
Erich is truly a gem. I met him a few years back and he is an incredible teacher - extremely straightforward, kind, and encouraging. His courses will help guide you through the world of guitar without getting overwhelmed. P.S. Using this link will discount the course to $49!
YGS if for you if you want:
A variety of styles and types of lessons
A step-by-step guide so you are never left wondering what to work on (and allows for flexibility)
Very beginner-friendly (but great for other levels as well!)
The Donut Doctor
If you want an insanely talented professional musician and content creator as your guitar mentor, Nicholas Veinoglou is your guy! He has toured with major artists, graduated from Berklee College Of Music, and built a huge social media following from the ground up, so he knows his stuff. Sometimes it can be tough to find a teacher who is both great at guitar and also great at explaining complicated techniques/ concepts but Nicholas is amazing at both!
The Donut Doctor is for you if you want:
To hone in on your technique and feel stuck as an intermediate guitarist
Need someone fun and positive to help guide you through what to learn
Want to get great at guitar and be confident playing with anyone!
Six String Country
Tony, the creator of Six String Country has created an incredible community and is overall an amazing and laid-back teacher. As the name suggests, Six String Country is bend towards players wanting to learn to play country music, but there are other styles on the site as well. Six String Country is one of the only platforms that you can learn to play songs (it’s really difficult to get the licenses to teach songs!) and there are a few different teachers that do lessons on the site (including yours truly ;) ). Songs are one of the best ways to get better at guitar, so this is an great site!
Six String Country if for you if:
You love country and rock and want to be able to play your favorite songs
Are moving to Nashville/ live in Nashville and want to leg up on how to play popular songs the right way
Want lessons for any level of playing
These are my own opinions, but I did use affiliate link for all of these so make sure you use my link when you sign up!
